The pancake breakfast at Hecate park was a great success! We sold out the event to 200 supporters of Cittaslow Cowichan. The weather was perfect and could not have asked for a better group of people to organize the event! Special thanks to Morris at Black Coffee at Whippletree for supplying us with such great coffee! We were thrilled to hear the weekend CBC radio report on Cowichan Bay’s excellence in pursuit of civilized living. We had lunched at Hillary’s and stocked up at True Grain earlier on Saturday – a regular stop on our frequent drives to/from Victoria.
